Dear Democrat Friends,

Congratulations on tomorrow's victory. I predict it will be a huge day for you guys.

I suggest you celebrate vigourously, because by all statistical calculations and probabilities, tomorrow will be the last gasp of a failed ideology soon to end up on the scrap heap of history.

So enjoy!

:D

Sincerely,
William H. Thrilly7th

Don't worry, you'll probably still have ARNOLD:

"Probably?"

And, don't worry, I'm not worried.

I have everything I need in place to make it through the next two years.

Terror detainee bill
NSA wiretap policies
Patriot Act
Low taxes
Strong Economy
Port Security Laws
700 Miles of Fencing going up.(I'd like much more, but it's something)
And Georgy, the commander and Chief still calling the shots from the White House.

So, I'm good. I feel stocked up and safe like I was in a bunker and had to survive for two years.

I have no problem with gridlock for two years.

I have everything I want and nothing the democrats want can happen without a Presidential signature.

So, I feel like I can sit back, watch the show and concentrate on issue #1.

The 2008 run for the White House.

That is not an election, I, nor the country, nor the world can afford to lose.

So, the good guys will take some lumps tomorrow, but we have our eyes on the prize.

In this War on Terror, with the fate of the free world at stake, the Commander in Chief position is that prize.

May god grant you good health for the next two years, John McCain and Rudy Giuliani. We're counting on you.

Thank you.

McCain and Giuliani? You're dismissing my candidacy out of hand. Don't celebrate too soon, Billy.

Thank you.

Dear Democrats:

I honestly have no idea who's even going to run for president two years from today. However, we had 8 years of democrat and 8 years of republican, and I've done quite well under both, so I'm open to either side.

The last two elections, you've offered really horrible choices for president. So horrible that I had to vote for George W, a man who by all accounts is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Even the hammer beats him there.

So here's what I'd like to see in a Democratic candidate. I promise to you that if you can provide me the following candidate, I will support him fully, and embrace him as my president if he wins. If you don't, I will continue to vote Republican, for lack of a better option.

A) I want a presidential candidate whose opinion of war (any war) is "We're going to go in there, and we're going to kick *** until we win."

B) I want a presidential candidate whose campaign is comprising mainly (75% or more) of "Here's how I can make America better." This is NOT the same thing as a campaign comprising entirely of "The Republican candidate sucks ***."

C) I want a presidential candidate who is personally invested in, and wholeheartedly passionate about the issues he embraces. If your candidate supports abortion, then he better base that on his own convictions and stick to his guns on it, regardless of polls and pundits.

D) I want a presidential candidate with a sense of humor, and an ability to communicate to the common man, not just the erudites in San Francisco and Boston.

E) I want a presidential candidate who will either raise taxes for all, or lower taxes for all. I will never support a candidate who says the rich must shoulder the bill for all Americans. We're all in this together, we should all pay our fair share.

That's it. If you can give me a candidate who can promise me this, I will support you. There are no specific political issues here. I want to vote for someone I have confidence in, regardless of their ideology. Please come through for me. If you can provide a candidate with these qualities, you'll force the Republicans to come up with one too.

And then maybe the nation will have a candidate worth voting for.

Eloquently said, David and I agree with many of those points.

Sadly, I can't join you. I will not vote for a democratic candidate under any circumstance.

Thank you.
:D

UNLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find a democrat who believes in "Personal Responsiblity of the Indivudual."

Then maybe.

And I like a pleasant looking candidate. Gives me confidence. Like Bill Pullman in Armageddon in Independence Day

Evan Bayh, if he believes in personal responsibility, is the only democrat I could ever dream of voting for.

Thank you.

I believe you mean Bill Pullman in Independence Day.

The only good looking man in Armageddon was Liv Tyler.

I will never support a candidate who says the rich must shoulder the bill for all Americans. We're all in this together, we should all pay our fair share.

private schools are really just as fair as public schools.
private security is just as fair as public police.
What we're talking about here is really separate but equal fairness.

Why, just the other day, I ran into this multi billionaire who was down to his last billion because taxes had destroyed his nestegg. And what family today can live on just a billion dollars.

Probably? The greatest thing that ever happened in Arnold's entire political career was the Democratic Party nominating Angeldweebies to run against him.

I like Arnold. I don't mind at all that he's calling himself a republican, because I know he's really a democrat.

And I said "probably," because the election isn't until tomorrow.

Oh, and who cares?

BillyThrilly & DClary - are you two roomates or something? If you aren't, you should be.

Living together would save you guys alot of money on internet fees.

Think about it. It makes sense.

Schwarzenegger explained why he is a Republican:

"Well, I think because a lot of people don't know why I'm a Republican, I came first of all from a socialistic country which is Austria and when I came over here in 1968 with the presidential elections coming up in November, I came over in October, I heard a lot of the press conferences from both of the candidates Humphrey and Nixon, and Humphrey was talking about more government is the solution, protectionism, and everything he said about government involvement sounded to me more like Social Democratic Party of Austrian socialism."

"Then when I heard Nixon talk about it, he said open up the borders, the consumers should be represented there ultimately and strengthen the military and get the government off our backs. I said to myself, what is this guy's party affiliation? I didn't know anything at that point. So I asked my friend, what is Nixon? He's a Republican. And I said, I am a Republican. That's how I became a Republican."

I'm not sure the internet could take so much bandwidth hogging from one location, El.

Plus, we have to disperse to avoid anti-neo-con-nazi-lesbian-satanist-wrestling-assassin-kangaroos from targetting us in one hit.

Oh, and who cares?

Yeah. Arnold's only a fiscal republican. He's definitely a social democrat. This puts him more in the libertarian category.
