On the corner but not over the edge
My first camera (a Kodak Instamatic which I bought at a garage sale for a buck) used AG1B flash bulb - the "B" stood for "blue," I believe, and gave the correct balance for color film. If you were shooting B&W, then you could use the AG1 bulb, which was grey.

No wonder my dad took most of the pictures outside.

Someone needs to give Joe a bottle of Hai Karate cologne for Christmas this year. And maybe a Dave Clark Five CD.

How about one of these?

Then you won't have to get up so often. You can have Johnny Cash and Roger Miller on the same tape!

Across from the faux fireplace, actually.

We had to get rid of the bumper pool because my brother kept losing the balls down the sump pump hole.

I had one of those go off in my hand once, when I was twelve. I was a on a field trip on the Belle Of Louisville, and it was a drizzly, overcast day. Maybe it was the static in the air that did it. I had the thing in my fist, getting ready to load it, when my friend Steve Schneider cracked a joke. At the exact second I laughed, the bulb discharged. I still remember hearing the sizzle, followed a split-second later by what felt like an arc-welder applied to my palm. I screaming something any twelve-year-old boy would, causing Steve to laugh harder. Good times.

PS: Quadraphonic rules.

This is all very nice . . . but it's just not Christmas anymore without the Andy Williams Christmas Special (with guest star Burl Ives).

I'm looking forward to watching It's a Wonderful Life for the 2,743rd time. I can almost recite the dialogue for it word-for-word, including Jimmy Stewart's speech inflections.
