View Full Version : Who's in charge?

Okay, so is Mac now officially in charge? I notice "runs the joint" now appears under here avatar.

Is it really appropriate for our fearless leader to have roadkill as an avatar? I think we should get to see her face...or at least her hat.

And if Mac is in charge, how come I'm not banned? And where are all the horses?

Just wondering...

I guess Mac finally got her partnership. Or bought in.

Congrats!

Now that Mac is officially the Queen, we can all send her a bunch of silly PMs and rep comments. Oh yes, and maybe change all our avatars to horses or hats.

??? Where did you hear this? Why didn't I get the memo? What about my stock options?

What if I don't know what I'm doing?

I just love Mac. I think Mac is the greatest thing since chip beef. Mac should run for congress. Mac is the bestest...

(how's that for suckup???)

But do you have a wrath?

MacAllister
11-02-2006, 07:46 AM
TT, not yet. I usually really like working on the jeep, too. It's been unusually cold this week, though, and I'm afraid I'm a bit distracted by other stuff.

Rob, I've got a profile pic for heaven's sake. You're stuck with the roadkill avatar. I'm fond of it, and I use it pretty much everywhere. Branding, you know.

I got yer wrath, right here...

Medium rare, Rob, with sauted chanterelles and a nice red. Thank you. :D

Branding, you know. How the hell do you make a branding iron in that shape? And it'll hurt like hell, too. Does Birol have one?

MacAllister
11-02-2006, 07:50 AM
Birol is strangely resistant to being branded. Go figure. I'm gonna put it on all y'all's foreheads, though, I think.

I hate torx heads (you need an impact wrench and some bolt blaster). :D

The best thing about Mac being in charge now is if you're in a downwind thread, making trouble, and smell horses you have sufficient warning to cover your tracks and leave.:D

Read the news and announcements. Jenna has stepped down as supreme destructicon, and passed the wand of torment to Mac.

Thanks Dave, I managed to muddle around until I found the announcement.

I'm saddened, but also know Mac is a great choice for this new adventure. I, as you should, offer our support to Mac and the mods during this transition. So lets continue to help Absolute Write whenever possible to thrive and grow in membership.

I hope Jenna remembered to tell Mac that I was her favoritest most bestest member on the forums, and she should listen to me in all things.

'Nuff said.

S'okay, Billy. I think we're all sad. And perhaps feeling just a teensy bit of sibling rivalry towards Jenna's new baby.

Not me. It's one of the advantages of being egocentic, I have the impression I'm always in charge.

Well, if it is too stressful then I hope Jenna takes a nice rest, has her baby and returns once again.

Good luck MacAllister, don’t worry, it shouldn’t be that hard to rule the joint. Just carry a big stick and growl a bit. You have it made already.

Mac, how was the official day 1? These kiddies didn't give you any trouble, did they? I can lend you the eyebrows if you need them.

Really though, since somebody had to take the reins, I'm glad it's you.

Jenna, I mostly just hid all day. They don't believe I have wrath.

Aren't they in for an ugly surprise?

So that means we'll be able to make a game out of it, like a Where's Waldo book. Everyone spread out and look for Mac's wrath in some of the other threads.

That way we won't all be in a group, where Mac can throttle us easily.

(Besides, we can leave Spooky here as a sacrifice of appeasement.)

Ooo. Oooo. I think I've found Mac's wrath (http://www.shiftydisco.co.uk/images/sc/wrath.gif). Now, what should I do with it?
