Here's an article by George Galloway. MP of this parish.

Okay we've had the whole Muslim female teacher wearing veils argument over here. Which seemed to me to be a storm in a teacup. She didn't wear it while teaching kids and only put it on when a male entered the room. In my opinion a bit odd, but no biggee.

So when does ' a bit odd but no biggee' tip the balance into ' now I feel my way of life is being threatened'

Personally I think people can do whatever they want whenever they want. So long as they don't make a point of getting in my face about it.

Where does Humanity end and PC begin?

I got nothing.

Thank you.

Maybe it's an English thing.

Maybe it's an English thing.

Possibly. How can you drink tea through a veil? Utter balderdash!

I can see how Muslim women feel they need to cover themselves up. Allah and the same d1pshit men who prevent them from worshiping in Mosques take care of that.

Personally if it was a serious religion I feel they should go for female circumcision. Much like my own dear church.

Bravo

it's so refreshing to see you guys having a rational, level-headed discussion.

this is pure thread brilliance here.

Where does Humanity end and PC begin?

At the Mason-Dixon line?

Either that or someplace in Belgium.

At militant extremist muslim strip clubs, does it take like 40 minutes for each dance, because the woman's got 50 layers of clothing on? And once she's naked, she's stoned, her husband is shot, and the strip club is shut down?

Ya know Dave, I was just kidding about you getting banned before your birthday rolls around...:D

Another ridiculous, misogynistic crack like that last, and we'll have to go out to the woodshed and have a talk, Dave.

You're right, ED. This is utter balderdash. I treasure and honor all women, and think PC is going too far.

Then learn how to spell honour!

Bravo, this does trouble me, perhaps you can provide a rational answer outside the hothouse of a message board forum. Why are women segregated from praying in Mosques?

We each make and guard our own borders. I took mine down before coming into this life. I have no intention of putting them back up. I accept all things that do not do harm to others. I am a follower of Jesus...but not of the bastards who follow him

Oddly enough, I was not trying to be funny. I shed humour during the last two days of October. It's a Halloween Lent of sorts. I think you know what I meant.

Oh, I know. Didn't think you were.

Just a weird, confusing statement.

I will chalk it up to Hellnight or Mischief Night.

I tried writing like my face was on fire.

At the end of the day all I had was

"AGGGHGGH! MY FACE IS ON FIRE! HELP! HELP! AAYYIIIIIIIII!!!

OH! IT BURNS! MY EYES! MY EYES! MY BEAUTIFUL EYES! NOoooOOooOooooOooOoOooooOoOoOOOooOOOooO!"

KTC

You're doing it wrong. Pay attention to this part: "LIKE"

Write LIKE it's on fire. Kinda like, "FASTER PUSSYCAT! FASTER!" It's a zen thing.

Tool. It's easy:

like your face is on fire

See?

No. Not really. But he's an instigator. And that's a good thing despite the fact I don't like him.

agreed

edit - i met him once, not a fan at all, but hey - he is the name that can raise issues, like you say. thats how our country works...
