And if you spread them out equally across a calendar year, 30 of us have a birthday every single day of the year.

To have a birthday thread for one or two them each day is to NOT have a birthday thread for the other 28, or, in other words, to show favoritism to one member over another.

AW's rules clearly state you shouldn't post a message directed at a single member, but instead send them PMs.

I submit that this applies to birthday wishes as well.

The majority of your posts are about yourself so I don't see why the rule shouldn't apply here also. Send yourself a PM and free up some cyber space for everyone else.

The number of members that have posted more than once is closer to 1000 and the number who are active enough for people to know their names is smaller than that.

Okay, so I understand the new rule. I just posted elsewhere and lo and behold I have 875. Good to know. I still don't trust people with more than 1000 posts and now I know how to regulate my post count so I never go over 1000. Never, you hear me. Bwaaahaaaa.

Yes. For reasons only understandable by those with supermod powers, we are no longer allowed to get post counts for posts in TIO or OP, because, apparently, the AW computer can't count that high.
