Verse one:
"Into the forest a warrior shall arise,
Driven by madness, love lost before his eyes,
They slaughtered his family for lust and greed,
A day that has marked a knighthood's seed,
Trained by his mentor, now master of the arts,
Armies he has led, his enemies torn apart,
Once every year he returns to their graves,
Honoring his family, remembering that day."

Chorus:
"Hollowing screams in the night, warriors clash and fight,
A galloping horse he rides, evil meets demise,
Burning fields of fire marked his soul's desire,
Images of him are seen, myth, legend or dream?
All who enter his domain, the heathen's life he'll claim,
Terror within the night, evil beware Ghost Knight."

Middle Verse:
"Clash, heathens of old attack, a knight's vengance at last,
One by one they fall, a judgment awaits them all,
The knight decends to his knees, crushed internaly,
Moments before his death, his curse is cast."

Last Verse:
"One-thousand years, a legend in time,
They say that all evil that enters shall die,
No bodies ever found, no traces of death,
Yet on through the night he rides without rest,
Stalking his victims like a wolf to it's prey,
Hunting in the shadows through mists of grey,
If you shall confront his presence of fire,
Pray that all evil is far from your desire."

Chorus Again

The ode to warriors are among my favorite poems, and this one is very good.
Do I get the feeling of an auld Cittern or mandolin playing the music for it?
As always itís hard to judge the song in itís written form but the lyrics hold a good musical flow.
The beat changes tell me you had music in your mind when you wrote it.

One of my goals next year is to find a way to have posters submit a bit of electronic music here so we can better evaluate.

Keep writing.

Yeah, I wrote the music first. I play electric guitar and understand drums (I have a drum machine). It fits the category of Melodic/Thrash/Power Metal.
