Yay! Dark Reveries acceptance

I have been sending out my story, 'Ten Years in a Shoebox' for what seems like a year, but I just got an acceptance from Dark Reveries. The editor said she loved the twist at the end, that it was wonderfully done!

Finally! I thought that story was going to the graveyard. (it will be out in their Halloween issue, booga, booga!)

It's really my favorite short story, I'm stoked!

That's right! I knew the story was good, dammit, and if you have that feeling about it, don't give up on it. This was the first time I had submitted to a dark fiction market, I was sending it to lit mags. I think I was just hitting the wrong genre.
