Just b/c I posted my rejection, I thought I might post a follow up success :) I am not sure where else to put it...

Because of this board, I did some research on some small small, just starting out publishers. Since I am a just starting out writer.
Queried three pubs. Got back two e-mails today. One, from D3 press, was a "we might be interested" and one, from LBF press, was a rousing "yes, please send the entire ms."

:jump :jump :jump :jump

Ok, now I am off to print up 200 pages of ms. I'll let you know how it works out!

Hey, good luck, Rissey!! :thumbs Please keep us updated.

Small presses are a great place for underpublished (and unpublished) writers.

Hmmm, I think its most arrogant of you to post a success, Rissey, since we're all here to post our failures.

Not.

Pocket it, and make sure you've sewn all the holes up.

Sometimes a success is the one thing we need to help us get out of the rejection rut. And some other writer's success can give us hope that, if we keep trying, we will succeed. Preseverence is key.

zip it, rich!

my take on this is that it's a rejection of rejection, thus is legally allowed here... so, there!:b

hugs [really], m

Re: zip it, rich!

Thanks! I agree Maia!

I just thought that some people might like to see that there is light at the end of the tunnel!
And I couldn't keep it in anymore :rollin
