Which reminded me...somewhere in the past few days I've seen a news item about Torstar is cutting back with Harlequin and letting 40 employees go. Darn. I've forgotten where. There were a few more details.

Cathy or Anne or Susan. Have you heard anything about this?

I've been working on editing a novel, and my mind is a sieve at the moment.

Yes, Harlequin laid off around 40 people across the company--about 7 of them editors. Most are not leaving immediately, and some will still be with the company, but part-time.

Here's a link to a story about that. At least I think it's a working link. The Net is being slow, so I'm not sure if the page actually opens the article or just some page telling me there used to be an article there, nyah nyah. ;)
