This guy *knew* he had parked in an unmarked spot, and when he came back the next morning, there were yellow lines there -- and a ticket on his car. But luckily for him, closed circuit TV cameras actually caught the work crew on cameras, painting the yellow lines under his car, and then waiting for traffic wardens to give him a ticket. (There's a photo on the website.) And they ruined his tires!
Although the ticket was waived (oh gee thanks), the city council is refusing to reimburse him for the damage to his tires.
