There's a cool banner up dere. Yep, up et de top of de page. Some guy named Liam Jackson. Seems he's got a book coming out soon...

LOL, Liam you know we love you! That banner looks awesome! (makes note to ask Jenna how I get one of those)

Congratulations, the date is just a week away... what are you going to do to celebrate!

Thanks, Christine, all.

I knew Jenna had ad rates for specialty advertising, so I ponied up to the bar, ermm, keyboard, and asked her the cost for a month long promo. She quoted rates for short and long term and I just couldn't afford not to give it a try.

I commissioned our very own CC to create the banner. I also contracted with him to manage my website. He designed the layout and color scheme for the site and keeps me from running amok with bizarre fonts. CC is a handy guy to have around.

I'm not sure about the celebration thing. I'll just be happy if I can remeber to breathe again on a regular basis. This waiting thing is hard on a guy's nerves. ;)

Thanks again for all the kind words and support, folks. Love ya!

(Yeah, Weren, I consider that support. :) Thank you.)

It's a magnificant cover. Even before I put together that it was a member's book, I clicked on it because I really dug the picture. I'll happily buy that book, in eight days.

Oh, yeah. I'd been wondering how long that had been up there. Days? Weeks? But I didn't want to look clueless, so I didn't ask.

The banner went up on Sunday.

PeeDee, Offspring has been called a lot of things by various reviewers, but "boring" hasn't been one of them. ;)

Haggis, I don't know if "exciting" is the right term. It's more like the adrenaline rush you get when you see a warp-speed bar stool flying at your head and you know damn well there's no way to move before impact.

There's also a large element of relief that the wait is nearly over. There's the fear that readers won't like what they find between the hard covers and the cautious hope that people will like the story. It really is a roller coaster.
