Wheeze, gasp for air and eventually pass out. :D

Hmmm, looks like you could glide, walk, step, cycle or ski, depending on your machine. Or you could simply "exercize."

BTW- I'm with Carrie :D I'll add sweat and vomit to her list "D

You can hang towels on it.

I'm with Kate and Carrie. I sweat buckets then pass out. I call mine The Punisher.

I'll add, get distracted by something on TV, forget which are my arms and which are my legs and what order they're supposed to be moving in, and fall over.

I usually think of it as "gliding" or "skiiing" or "using the elliptical".

Hubby and I sometimes say "riding the elliptical," but that's not really accurate. Using is a fine verb for this purpose. Or just "working out on the elliptical machine." Wordy, but accurate.

Thanks, guys! I went with "She finished her workout and stepped off the elliptical."

Now I'm off to do some gliding/ sliding/ wheezing of my own.
