You all look like your avatars

So most of you look like typewriters or elves or some such to me.
Many of you are talking dogs and cats, and when I read your posts I hear a strange snarling speech in my head.
Terri, Jenna, and robaeiou are beautiful ladies, Maestrowork was Superman until recently, and some of you are just plain invisible.
So for the folks like me, Peedee, Sass, etc. who use their own pictures, is there anything in common that makes us use our own picture instead of another image?
vanity perhaps?

In my mind, you three are Vin Diesel, the scream, and a little kitty cat.
Actually, if other people are like me this way, maybe I should replace my avatar with some sort of underwear model.

There's a long story behind this, but I've been in a situation of wearing a mask publicly and performing, and I must say that you do things that you wouldn't otherwise when you know you are anonymous. Horrible and degrading things that...

I strongly disagree.

I think there's something in this about how we picture ourselves. If I were a psychologist, I could figure it out.

That's beautiful. My wife's grandfather was a WWII vet and just passed away last week. Excellent choice.
