I posted this in the Romance section, since, well, I write romances and Cathy suggested that I post it here as well. 
After mentioning that I needed a cookie when reading about all of the new first time authors having their books published, I opened my email and in my inbox was a request from an agent who said that he would love to see the first 50 pages of my Harlequin Blaze targeted story. Yay!
I know partial requests aren't much to some people, but after dozens (might as well make that closer to 100 in my career) of rejection letters, having a reputable agent request a partial means A LOT to me. This agent makes the third to have asked for a partial for this particular story, so I'm doing my own private Snoopy dance.
