It's been two weeks of slowness. For a while there, I was receiving tons of replies to queries, mostly rejections, but a few bites of interest. Anyway, I received a rejection today, and the agent said, "I'm afraid, though, that I'm finding realistic fiction difficult to sell right now." in the letter.
Is that just me, or is that a really lame excuse of a rejection? Why can't they just say it's not for them?
