Robert Toy
The time has come for me to get back to some serious writing, and in order to do that I must leave AW. I leave with very mixed emotions, AW has become more than just a blog to post on, and you all have become a part of me. Without getting into TMI you have unknowingly helped me through a really rough spot in my life, and made the otherwise very bumpy ride a lot easier to handle.
I want to thank all of you (yes all) for putting up with my abject silliness, and the occasional tantrums. I know there are a number of you that will say “He’ll be back, just wait.” – Teddy, Kevin take their money!
Assuming that I do not suffer the Wrath of Jenna… my e-mail address will remain should anyone care to drop a line. Sorry, I will not respond to PMs. Again, I thank you all and especially Jenna for the riding roughshod over the best writer’s blog, and for the good times and accepting me into your little world. I’m sure if you ask Jenna nicely (…read beg... ) she will give you any rep points that I may have mistakenly accumulated.
I sincerely wish you all the very best, and hope the publishing goddess smiles upon you all (it has to be a woman!).
In closing (… *cheers in the background*), I will leave you with one of my ________? I have no idea what it should be called, except heartfelt.
As the seasons pass the storm of depression arrives once again, and I find myself adrift in a raging sea of overwhelming swells of emotion. My grip on reality was slipping away, when suddenly a flood of hands reached out and pulled me in and held me tight.
The storm has passed and the skies have cleared, the helping hands though thousands of miles away comforted me. Fighting the urge to cling to this safe harbor, I know that I must let go, and once again stand tall and walk the sands of life in the open light. For I have less than a year to pen my thoughts so I must write, and write I will before my next Perennial Storm appears.
CATS RULE!!!
