I wish I could help. I've got a close friend in Boston. So I can't very well be rooting for the bad guys.

Ah, they've fallen into the trap AGAIN! The stage is set for the Sox to break Yankee hearts yet again!

Either that, or it's another winter of wailing and hand-wringing for the good guys.

"Yet again?"

You mean the one time in 100 years?

See ya in 2090, Red Sox.

Curse of the Damon in full effect.

Goodnight AW!

100 years? Then let's go back to 1904, shall we? Still not 26, granted. But, being one of the "America's Team" franchise (along with the Cowboys and 'N Sync), surely you'd support fair play.

Damon's good, but he, sir, is no Babe Ruth. And whatever he brings ain't nothin' compared to the Curse of A-Rod.

...I think Billy keeled over in his beer. He's gone strangely silent.

I'm confident that situation won't last, however.

Its hard being a yankees fan while living in the heart of downtown boston, and only ten minutes away from fenway. I'll just pretend I'm a foreigner with no interest what so ever in these silly little games.

We'll see which curse sticks over the next few years. It'll be fun.

Good luck today, Sox fans.

You'll probably beat Lidle.

But I think it was Meatloaf who said, 4 out of 5 ain't bad.

I give you credit for one thing, Joe.

Even showing up in this thread.

Must hurt.

Bad.

I took back my heart to protect it when they did nothing at the trade deadline. It's tough to compete with a club that spends that much.

Still, it's a new century...

Twenty-First Century Championships:

Red Sox: One
Yankees: Zero

and just for kicks...

All I can tell you, Joe, is exercise, take your vitamins, and maybe you'll be lucky enough to make it to 2090.

But wear a jacket at the parade. I'd hate to see you get pneumonia at that age.

Good day.

If he could hit a curve, Steinbrunner would offer him a contract.

I'll die happy either way.

That's the attitude I love.

It's the difference between a sports fan winner and a sports fan loser.

Congrats on 2004!

This winter is negotiating time again.

Here's hoping we get a salary cap in place. Then the Yankees can return to their righful place as a peer of the god-awful Knicks, Jets, and Islanders.

praise all the various gods! ask them to watch over the players. how the hell does steinbrenner expect a-rod to live on 134,000 dollars per game? :)
