I'm starting a Pass the Torch Tuesday meme for anyone who's interested. It will be structured like Thursday Thirteen or Wordless Wednesday, but it's designed for people to write about situations where they've witnessed kids doing something good (catch 'em being good philosophy). It can be your child or someone else's - that doesn't matter. But it's an exercise in looking at what's right about kids.

The complete guidelines are here. (http://kellycurtis.blogspot.com/2006/08/pass-torch-tuesday-guidelines.html)

And my post is up (http://kellycurtis.blogspot.com/2006/08/pass-torch-tuesday-inaugural-edition.html) . I encourage you to participate! It's really easy and fun!

Kelly, with the Thursday Thirteen or Wordless Wednesday, are those things that we can get in on as well if we want to? If so, how do they work?

DEFINITELY!!!! They are easy and you generate as much traffic as you want. The more you comment and link, the more they come back to you.

Here are the hubs (I think) - http://www.thursdaythirteen.com
http://www.wordlesswednesday.blogspot.com

Thursday Thirteen has some code they want you to include. Wordless Wednesday is less strict. Just use the Technorati tags so people can find you. Then you ahve to go out and comment on other TT's or WW's - They'll send people your way. WAY fun!!

Here are mine from last week - tons of activity. I was even selected as a blog of the week for Thursday Thirteen

JOIN IN!! Very fun.

Just to remind you all -- Pass the Torch Tuesday is in its second round this week. If you have an inspiring story about a kid, this is a great place to share it! Ever caught a kid being good? or smart? or responsible?

And I'm giving an award button every week. Now that ought to bring you in by the droves;)
