Yay. Having been raised in the south, I cut my teeth on a pigskin. I am thrilled to see NFL on TV, even if it is the Hall of Fame Bowl.

Ahh, you're a Football fan, are you? It's baseball for me . . . But I gotta say, I love seeing Football come closer, 'cause that means it's gonna be Fall again soon :D

I don't spend all day watching sports, but do enjoy the playoffs. Life is way too short to spend four or more hours on the weekend laying on the couch watching sports.

A game only lasts 3 hours. Once a week. I think my family can spare me for 3 hours once a week while i root for the Packers.

But who will cook and clean while you are lazing away the Sunday on the couch?

The operative word being try :)

I so love football season. Fall, my favorite time of year--cool, crisp, breathable air. Ahhhh :D

Die-hard 49'ers fan. Even though they haven't done anything in a while.

Go Steelers! Ben, stay away from windshields :tongue

I work just down the street from the Tennessee Titans training facility. They've been out of town for the past week at a camp . . . practicing in 100 degree weather. I would feel sorry for them . . . but the new quarterback just signed something like a $59 million deal . . . so I won't feel that sorry for them.

In central Ohio we have three seasons: Winter, Construction, and Football.

The Buckeyes kick off in exactly 26 days. Wooooooo!!!

Should be a good year for you Buckeye fans. Texas is the same way only our seasons are Summer (about 9 mos) and then Football. And then more Summer.

Indeed indeed, football is coming. Can't wait to see what the Cowboys do this year.

But I must ask, what is this "fall" that some of you are speaking of. From the context of your words it would almost seem to be a season of the year, but that, of course, is impossible. The only seasons are Early Summer, Raging Summer, Tame Summer, and Blink-&-You'll-Miss-It-Winter. Right?

Fall is the best time of year, along with football. There is nothing like a comfortable pair of jeans, a sweater, tailgating and Da Bears. WHOA! I can’t wait.

Sheesh! It's just 3 hours! If it's a noon game there's plenty of time to cook and clean after! And if it's a 3pm game, so we eat a little late. No biggie.

Maybe if they got off their lazy asses and helped around the house a little they wouldn't be so dependent upon me!

Here in the Pacific Northwet we have The Rain, followed by What's That in the Sky? lasting a brief 3 days whereupon HOLY CRAP Turn Down the HEAT! for usually 2 or 3 weeks, then the Blessed Rain comes again for another 10 months and we're happy again.
