Honestly. I'm never going to read all 17,000 posts in the house of love, so I can't even contemplate making a post in the thread, because as a Professional Messageboard Poster, part of my duties are to ensure I'm not repeating something previously said.

Wouldn't it make sense to limit a thread's length by say 1,000 or so posts? I can't possibly imagine that thread doesn't have fewer than 3400 hijacks in it.

Just think of the dirtiest thing you can think of, then change it. Everything else has probably been said in there. Don't let a little intimidation cost you the experience of the internet's premiere literary geek virtual-feel-up session.

I participate in HOL and I wouldn't DREAM of reading all of it. No reason to. They're the folks you know around OP, but when they go to HOL they are kinder, gentler, and hornier. :D

eta: nakeder....I forgot nakeder. (thanks, Unique)

Oh, hey Kath. How goes it? Have you tried that lovely carrot soup recipe I emailed you yet?

Terri...I told you not to look down on me, didn't I?

I think about onions all the time. What does that mean?

Just as long as you know your place :D I'm happy.

And the onion thing means you're  .

I'm a green smiley? Oh. Okay. I thought it meant something like that.

He brushes his teeth in the morning and combs his hair at night. Gotcha.

Here's a story of a man named KTC who was boring me-e-e-e to tears, all of them had hair of gold like their mother...

It's eery isn't it?

I'm not buying the green smiley thing either.

Yes. Yummy. Thank you for that. Will Dave mind if we are hijacking his thread?

No, no, by all means. I'm in the Stew Camp: I allow any thread hijacks (or hijinx) as a means of alleviating any guilt I might feel over hijacking other threads.

But let me clarify here: basically the house of love is one big *** orgy? (dammit, STILL can't say ***, can I?) So I could possibly read the first post which might have rules, and then jump to the back and hang on tight for 8 seconds?

It's essentially The AW Aristocrats?

I hate you, but I love you, I can't stop thinking about you. It's true, I'm stuck on you.

(You probably don't know the song unless you're younger. It was played on MTV, but the singer's music is usually somewhat gospel music, with more emphasis on love and life instead of God.)

Guessing either Amy or Michael. Can't think of anyone else who gets pop play AND is considered a Christian artist.

Billythrilly and I are Professional Messageboard Posters, which means we spend more than 40 hours a week posting on messageboards. Currently the work is more of an "on commission" basis than salary, and we rely on our endorsement deals to pay the bills -- this is one reason why Billy has recently suggested Unionizing, in order to establish a living wage and better public appreciation of the work we put into making an entertaining, education forum for all.

Dave, Dave, Dave. I don't think the HOL has ONCE gone off topic. It has remained cohesive throughout. Are you reading it properly?

No, that's just it, I haven't read it at all. I'm taking I don't need to.

Stacie Orrico. Her singles "Stuck" and "(There's Gotta Be) More To Life" got plenty of pop play, but she's usually considered a Christian artist.
