When the floor trembled. Another earthquake hit Java and this time I felt it...http://jakartaguru.blogspot.com/

Fairly minor though, just lasted a few seconds. Don't know about any after shocks though...

I was some 160 miles from the epic centre so it was really as if some very long truck was rumbling past the house.

The numbers keep rising in the other more fatal earthquake last Monday. The Japanese and Americans knew it was going to happen but the Indonesians did little about spreading the word. A few phone calls were made - this in a country where not every one has telephones!!
