Spay her, bring her inside, treat her well and she'll give you years of joy !

Barring that, find someone else who can, okay?

Unless it's my cat in which it'll give you years of getting underfoot, knocking valuable things off shelves, and just generally being a nuisance.

= joy :D

Just keeping asking "Why?" until your parents give in. Be resolute!

Aww, it's so cute!

I wish my cats never got bigger...granted, they're still my preciouses, but they're not adorable as they were when they were young.

Kitty has most likely joined my family for good. :D

We named her Venti! :D

Heehee...Now there's 3 humans and 3 pets, but the chicks are still winning (me, Jewels, Mom, Venti), and my dad and my dog are guys. :D

That's the thing with cats - once they adopt you, you're kind of stuck with them
True, but thats a good thing most of the time.
The only cat that likes me more than I like it is my dads. It's a nice enough cat but it has a habit of drooling when it purrs, and it's seat of choice is me.

On Cats

I have a cat. Clyde. He brought home another cat. Shadowcat. Clyde was neutered. Shadow evidentally was not. ( Heck I wasn't even sure it was a girl...) Now I have 6 cats as my son's fiance brought home a cat, couldn't keep it and now it lives with us.

Clyde hates everyone except Shadowcat.
Clyde says there is such a thing as too many cats.

You should worry about people who say their cat talks to them.

We have six cats (all rescues, all blue eyed), two dogs (rescues, Jack the staffy cross in my avatar and Harry a German Shepherd/retriever cross), three budgies, about 25 chickens, 20 guineafowl and 30 or so peafowl. The stick insects eventually died. And my children ask why we don't have any animals.

If you do keep the kitten make sure to get it vaccinated and spayed and it'll be great. Don't let it breed. There's no need at all, there are too many kittens around already!

I'm very glad you got to keep the kitty. There are too many strays out there, because people aren't careful with their pets. (willnotrantwillnotrant...)

"Venti" is cute, and looks surprisingly similar to my own female kitty. The joy of female kitties is to adopt them with their brothers (or other male kitties) when they're all very young, and then get them all fixed early. These days, my female kitty mothers all three of the other cats, as well as me and my wife. She herds us to bed, wakes us up in the morning, gives us baths if we seem to need them, and will pick my wife's nose with her claw if she doesn't wake up properly.

(Which is hilarious.)

(God, I hope she doesn't read these forums.)

And don't think I don't appreciate it. The fireplace crackles so prettily these days with all that paper.

I notice you don't have a avatar, nachonaco Grippers. You could make a great avatar by cropping the face of that kitty. If you've never done that, just let me know. There can never be too many kitty avatars.

And I'm sure Alleycat means for you to crop the face of kitty's picture, not kitty.
