Brag - I just made the best Fried Green Tomatoes EVER!

I had to brag because I normally can't cook worth a ... well let's just say that my cooking is soo bad that I normally don't cook at all. BUT, this time HA HA I did it right.

There's just one problem...

My husband isn't home yet and I'm afraid I might eat all the evidence before he gets here. He'll never believe me if I do but they taste soo good. I don't think I can wait.

Ugh, the agony of decision making.

mmmm, I just ate another one! I have no strength of will. It's pitiful.

My husband agreed that the tomatoes were good but, when I asked, "Are these the best Fried Green Tomatoes you ever had?" He paused for a moment and said, "I haven't had enough to know yet."

LOL!! It's a good thing I didn't ask if I was the best lover he ever had.

The recipe I used was to cut them about 1/4 of an inch thick and then I salted them. I dipped them in a 1/2 flour and 1/2 corn meal mix with pepper and fried them till golden brown on both sides. I didn't use any kind of fancy recipe.

End result:

I'm miserably stuffed now.

I always feel fat, always. But until I digest this, I will feel even fatter.

Actually, no my husband didn't eat the last one and I was offended but then he said he planned to eat more later this eve.

He better or I'll cram it down his throat.

Yes, right from my garden.

I love tomatoes. I will eat tomatoes as if I'm eating apples. I even crave tomatoes at times. I wonder why.

What kind of nutritional value do tomatoes have, does anyone know?

Really? ... I just always thought of them as luscious and juicy. I never realized they were good for me to.

Huh, that's really interesting information. I suppose I can eat on where tomatoes are concerned.

I like the way the juice squirts out all over the place when I bite into one. It runs down my chin and all over the place. I do not mind my manners when I eat tomatoes.

Once, when my husband and I went out to eat, my husband bit into a small cherry tomato and a seed flew out of it. The seed landed on the guy's head sitting across from us.

We laughed so hard we were crying. The guy across from us didn't know it happened but it was comical!
