Live journal blog question

I found a blog over on live journal tonight and wanted to leave a comment. How do you do that there and at the same time have your name left as a link back to your blog? I am not a member of LJ and as for now i dont want to be since i am happy(so far) with blogger. Anyways, the only options i had were to click "anonymous" or "live journal"(which i dont qualify for)...I just dont like posting under anonymous cause that seems to be what most of the trouble makers do. So am i missing something or is that jsut the way it is at LJ?

You can't.

It's unfortunate, but LJ seems to be very closed to outsiders in that regard.

Well, of course you can.

Post as anonymous and in your comment you sign with your name and link to your page. You can do that.

You just won't get a name. I know that's bad.

Only problem with OpenID is that it pretty much requires a rocket scientist to interpret their instructions. I've tried. Twice. And gave up. Twice.
