Coloring has become something enjoyed by people of all ages. Some colored pencils, or crayons, or even markers and something to color can be both fun and relaxing. It's also something you can do with other people, whether with your kids at home, or via FaceTime or other video hangout.

There are a lot of coloring books for every conceivable age and interest. But there's also a wealth of material on the Internet in the form of .pdf files to download for free, and legally, print them at home and color away.

Color Our Collections
A number of museums have cooperated to create Color Our Collections (http://library.nyam.org/colorourcollections/); free downloadable coloring books and sheets from various museums, inspired by objects in their collections. There are museums from all over the world participating, with images of animals, flowers, people, places . . . there's something for everyone here.

Free Shakespeare Coloring Book
The site is about Victorian Shakespeare illustrations; it grew out of the Ph.D. research of Michael Goodman. The coloring book features illustrations (engravings) from 35 Shakespeare plays, in a downloadable, printable .PDF file (https://shakespeareillustration.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Victorian-Illustrated-Shakespeare-Colouring-Book-copy.pdf).

Free H.P. Lovecraft Call of Cthulhu Coloring Book
