I think I remember a thread in which people were naming the last erotica they read, other than their own. Or maybe we were naming titles we'd enjoyed.

Anybody recall if it was last-read or favorite?

Maryn, who doesn't read erotica with the kids around all summer

Hi Maryn, it was favorite erotica.

Mine was the Sleeping Beauty trilogy. But in all honesty, I haven't read a whole lot of erotica. I'm reading a SPICE book now (still, yes, I'm a slow reader), but so far it isn't very erotic. In fact, based on what I've read thus far, I wouldn't call it erotica at all.

Or maybe I just like porn.

lmao!

All of Laurell K. Hamilton's stuff is pretty erotic.
Yeah, no kidding. I was hoping for a bit more plot from this one. I like her style, but after the first 5 or so in the series.....sigh. Not that I don't like it. I just want to see her kick a$$ not Blllllleeeeeeeeppppp bleeeep it.

Yes, I got sick of that series. maybe if it had started out as erotica not just got there by default.

I recall being impressed by an anthology called 'Alien Sex' -- speulative erotica and quite freaky with it. I can't remeber the editor.

I've always liked erotica with a sense of humor. My all-time favorite (though his work is just about gone these days, except for a few rare copies found in internet used book searches) is Ted Mark (Theodore Mark Gottleib).

His main character was Ted Mark the man from the Organization for the Rational Guidance of Youth (O.R.G.Y.), a sexologist in the Kinsey tradition who had not only a permanent erction but the knack for finding himself in trouble.

There were eight or ten Man from O.R.G.Y. books in the series along with some stand alones like: I was a Teeny-Bopper for the C.I.A., and The Girl from PussyCat, the story of a ravishingly beautiful virgin girl working for a publisher in New York, who always seemed to be the victim of coitus interruptus under the most embarrassing circiumstances.

Of course, these books were a product of the late sixties and early seventies, as am I. (I graduated from high school in 1965).

Regards,
Scott

Last erotic novel I read was Master of the Moon by Angela Knight. I finished it last week and I am not ashamed to admit I enjoyed it thoroughly!

I also enjoy the Laurel K Hamilton books, although a couple of times I got suckered into buying anthologies with her listed as one of the featured authors, and her stories were more excerpts than actual stories.
