(Proper Noun) television/Television
Something's been bothering me for the past few hours. When a channel is stated "BBC television" would that "t" in television be capatilized or lower-cased?

If it is part of the channel name - BBC Television, CBS Television Network, it would be capitalized. If it's not part of a particular name - television network, it wouldn't. Puma

What if it's stated like this? "She won the BBC television's YMY award"?

Should be capitalized. It may be considered reduntant though. You could probably just say "She won the BBC's YMY Award"

BBC isn't exactly a brand of television. It's a broadcasting network. "She won the BBC's YMY award" (or "YMY Award," depending on what YMY is, or spell out what it stands for).

the ABC network
American Broadcasting Company
the Discovery channel
NPR
National Public Radio
