Ok, so, wait, let me get this straight.

I need no talent and no creativity? No time either as I can be working a 100 percent and with two jobs and still write it in 14 days?

And I'm already a master?

Yes. I like that book. Buy me!

So you have no time but you can still write 100,000 words in 14 days. Wow, that's genius! That's 7200 words a day. Are monkeys who can type included?

I searched, found a link, entered my email addy, and after confirming OK from the email addy, received the first lesson FREE of charge. The secret blew me off my seat. If it's good enough for Isaac Asimov, it's good enough for me.

I like this part: "You don’t need to spend years learning the basics and mastering the techniques. You’ve already done that as a child. You’re already a master writer."

Well, the advice on lesson 1 is not bad for writing a rough first draft quickly (but I still doubt the 14 days part) but I wouldn't even think of writing a completed novel like that.

Plus, they made me read through five pages of stuff to get a /&%#/$% 4-word sentence of advice.

What was the advice? 'Buy a big crayon'?

Nah. Write like you talk. As in, don't think too much about the words, just put them on paper (screen) and be done with it.

Which is good advice, since I lose hours trying to come up with the right word on the first draft. As I said, works for rough first drafts.

Wouldn't that be, like, copyright infringement?? I don't know, I wouldn't do it.

Sometimes I think I might have involuntarily committed copyright infringement, in the form of paraphrasing very closely to what someone else has already said. Sometimes I post something, and when I re-read it, I think it sounds eerily similar to something that Uncle Jim or Victoria or TNH had said before. :D

That's only for posts of factual information. Otherwise, I've never committed copyright infringement.

(Okay, I admit it, I wrote a "chapter" for my side-project based on the spam poem "I am Mrs. Miriam Abacha a Widow" by TNH. But that's classified information. ;) It is hella funny though. You'll get to read it eventually.)

If I wrote something like that book above, I'd tell everyone to spend the first day finding a classic book that has no copyright...

Just google the title and you will find it...I found it hilarious but had I been 15 again, I would have bought it.

So...does that make me extra mature, since I found it hilarious? :D

Er... just reviving this to say that I followed that guy's advice and wrote 933 words in 10 minutes, when I always write about 400 words a day. And it was decent first-draft writing. I'm.... utterly shocked.
