I'm in Vancouver, B.C. and usually write with a Pacific Coast focus.
I have an assignment from an international fishing industry magazine though, due on the 16th and they want an overall North American fishery round-up kind of yarn.
My personal informational "black hole" is the U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast Where would I start looking for info on the main species caught, tonnage landed and main markets of products in that reigon?
