It's weird because I don't tend to like emotional characters. I prefer stoic characters but I find that in one of my stories that writing a more expressive, vibrant character is fun. I don't know if this is because this character is more quiet and tends to show what she's thinking through her actions more but she's fun to write. I don't know if she is going to be the type that cries easily or gets mad easily because I don't tend to like those kind of characters but it's fun to write her out to be more animated in terms of expressing how she feels.

Does anyone else find writing expressive characters fun and is that why people prefer expressive characters to more stoic characters?
