Apparently two people who aren't fans of Vince Vaughn and classic comedies like Old School, Wedding Crashers and Swingers.

Fair enough.

We're all wired differently.

Actually I like Vince Vaughn very much. I think Wedding Crasher was funny. But Vaughn doesn't carry the whole film he's in. Case in point: Be Cool (granted, it was really a John Travolta movie; still...)

A classic?

Even the previews suck.

It's predictable crap that only made it to the big screen because everyone likes seeing real life couples make out.

For people who think that Wedding Crashers, Old School, and Swingers and all the Frat Pack comedies are classics, we've got another one.

For people who don't think those movies are classics, then we don't.

This thread is for fans of Vince Vaughn.

We got another classic.

Have you seen the previews?

I give it one week. You heard it here first.

P.S...................Jennifer Anniston goes to get a bikini wax, and asks for the "Telly Savalas," Then, she walks naked to get a soda out of the fridge, and Vince takes a look at the pre-pubescent new look and drools.

Gag me.

I saw The Wedding Crashers on an airplane. I thought it was silly. The best thing about it was Christopher Walken, who adds something to every movie.

P.S......You have Rob Lowe on your avatar.

Made that much ickier because of her family connection to Mr. Savalas.

When you say "preview" do you mean trailer?

Yes. I posted the link to the trailer.

I wouldn't have said it was a classic without already seeing the trailer.

Based on the trailer, it's a classic..IF YOU ARE A VINCE VAUGHN FAN.

Aniston is a funny comedic actress as well. And Favreau is in it.

So...I can't wait.

She has one?

Let me tell you, Jennifer needs to stay out of the sun for the rest of her life. She looks awful for a woman her age. Her skin is like leather.

She's only 36, her skin should be prime.

I'm glad you aren't in charge of greenlighting Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson movies.

Clearly you belong to the "Everything X does is gold" school. Substitute X with "Tom Cruise" and you will see how silly it is.

It seems every movie Jennifer Aniston is in totally sucks. Especially Rumor Has It, a movie so bad, we feared they were going to stop it halfway through and send it out to DVD. Of course, the one line in it was funny enough to make up for the rest of the movie.

I want to see thought provoking, moving movies. Not a movie about two people who break up--people break up all the time. :flag:

Edited because it seems I forgot to take my "Good Speller" pill today. And I will finish editing this post only to find something wrong with the edit, I'm sure.

I love Tom Cruise. He was one of my idols. Until he went nuts.

But I still love him.

I have nothing else to say on this topic. We're all wired differently.

And Vince Vaughn fans, we got a great one coming out.

Thank you.

"Is that how you wanna play it lady, 'cause I'll play it like Lionel Ritchie, ..All Night Long."

A trailer uses the best moments, it's supposed to promote sales.

And based on that, you believe it will be a classic?

PS................Vince Vaughn is too tall.

What is he, 6'8" or something?

Telly Savalas is Jennifer Aniston's Godfather. Well, at least he was before he went and died.

I don't plan on seeing "the Break Up", because it screams "chick flick" to me. On the other hand, I think Vince Vaughn is freakin' hilarious. I was sure I'd hate "Dodgeball" because I can't stand Ben Stiller, and Vince had me rolling. "Wedding Crashers" I only saw because "Hotel Rwanda" was sold out when we got to the theater, and it was one of the few movies that I consider "laugh out loud and maybe pee your pants" funny. Honestly, I think Jennifer Aniston plays the same character in everything she does. She's always Rachel. Now, she's become quite adept at playing the same thing over and over again, but it's not a character that I really have any interest in.

Those two suck. Can Owen Wilson please pull his lips in?

I like dumb comedies. I even saw Benchwarmers, which was, btw..the movie we saw the preview for The Break Up.

I saw Benchwarmers because:
1. Adam Sandler produced it.
2. David Spade is in it - and trust me, he is looking too fat and too old to be doing these films - but he is dating Heather Locklear ......
3. John Heder is in it and I thought Napoleon Dynamite was the funniest movie I'd seen in years.

Still ..............I like silly comedies. Last night, I saw RV with Robin Williams. Now he is funny.

Actually, Friends With Money is pretty good. Of course, it has Katherine Keener, Francis McDormand and Joan Cusack in it. The Good Girl was also very good, I think.

Telly Savalas is Jennifer Aniston's Godfather. Well, at least he was before he went and died.

So, since he's dead, it's totally appropriate to make crotch jokes in his name.

I liked Office Space, and Jennifer was in that, too. She played Rachel.

I think Jennifer Anniston is the new Diane Keaton. She can't act, but for some reason, her career is set for life.

I've never seen either of those movies. I like Jennifer Aniston as a person (at least more than I like Angelina Jolie...-gag-) but I don't think she's a particularly good actor. She kinda just plays herself.... and she's always naked, which, I'm sure, helps along her career.

So you actually know Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie personally? Ah, this kind of crap movie, and crap actors like vince whateverhisnameis, remind me of why I haven't gone to a movie theater in ten years. And to think that book sales are losing to crap like THIS. Eeeh, I think we need to be nuked from orbit.
