I'd like to take a moment of your time, please, to (re)introduce myself: I am your long-absent mod from this and other (AW History; Questions and Discussion, AW History and Community Event Archives, Hands-On, Historical Writing, Now We're Cookin'!, and Now We're Cookin' SYW) forums right here on Absolute Write! For those who remember me from ages past, no introduction is necessary. For you newbs (who may be as old as five or so years and have more posts to their credit than I have), no introduction is equal to the task of preparing you for Ol' Fashioned Me.

Suffice to say, I was here. I was gone. I am back! I'll try not to let the past 16 years spent in InsuranceWorld color my return to WritingWorld... I may, however, slip occasionally and will welcome gentle reminders that I am older and retired and no longer have to deal much with 'out there'.

Those of you who remember me... please don't scare the newbs with your reminiscences of my Ol' Days. It might be more fun to let 'em learn for themselves. But, if you must, make it good an scary!

I almost do... but sometimes, when I pick up my copy and start reading at a random location, I wonder who wrote it! :0 Must be a case of CRS.
