Unless you want Homeland Security to start a file on her!

I am sure you would hate to see your Morther's Day call lead to her ending up on a no-fly list or spirited away to Saudi Arabia for... ahem... questioning.

It'd be a heck of a file they'd form if I could reach either my mother or my mother-in-law: they've been dead 8 years and 31 years respectively. ;) (But Happy Mother's Day to both of you, if you're reading this!)

Too late.

My mother n law is already banned from the US by homeland security.

10 year penalty for not following directions.

Too bad she's 74.

We're not at war. But it makes a lot people feel better to think we are.

I missed the warning. Luckily, I'm in a different country all together. There were no discussions about terrorism anyhow but we did have a hefty conversation about the Davinci Code. Hope the Opus Dei weren't listening...eep!

I called me mother five times and hope to squeeze a few more in.

Because I'm a patriot, who loves his country, and I welcome being on any type of watch list or call list they can come up with.

Thank you.

I called my Mom 'cause I love her, it's Mother's Day and my Birthday--that only happens every few years. Makes it that much more special, the bond we have. Wouldn't miss not speaking w/ her, she's my best friend!
Do you realize that your message was 11 out of 111 views.

I think that is binary for love.

I didn't call my Mother "Today".

I called my mom this afternoon. She reminisced about her flying lessons and told me about the package she had to deliver to the airport. I told her about the great time I had at that camp in the mountains last year. My mom, she's da bomb (and I told her so).

OK, maybe not, but that would have kept the NSA guys entertained, don't you think?

If the Departement of Homeland Security wishes to register that fact that I love and respect my mother, so be it.
Though I didn't call her yesterday, because mother's day in Sweden is two weeks away.
Oh, and I will not call her that day either, because she has said to us (my brothers and me) that "If you need a certain day to remember me, then you might as well forget about that one too."

The only person I called yesterday was Auntie and if they feel the need to put her on a watch list, then they are really getting desperate. The poor woman is wheelchaired bound with advanced MS (but still has all her spunk). She doesn't get out of her house often enough, forget flying out somewhere.

Seriously, Hero. You're one of those people who forwards every silly chain e-mail letter you get, don't you?

Your mother is a wise woman. Do you think she would mind if I used that line?
