Fountain Pen Engraving

Bought the hubby a fountain pen for Christmas.

He writes as well, and I'd like to find a (short) quote about writing to have engraved on the pen. Any ideas?

Bonus points for Latin...

What are his writing habits? Would "carpe noctem" (seize the night) work for him? :)

I actually checked with a friend who teaches Latin.

Should be Scribo ergo sum.
