OK so a couple of days ago I received my rejection from Mills & Boon, it was part of the PRIMA Magazine 'Love to Write' Competition. While I knew in my heart I wouldn't win, the rejection did sting, but only for a moment. Which I am glad about. It was your basic stock rejection, but what I am taking from this is that whether they liked it or not, an editor at M&B actually read my submission which makes me happy. I do however plan on not giving up, but right this moment I am taking a few days to write what I want to write, instead of sifting through submission calls and trying to 'write for a market' which is what I now realise I have been trying to do. I would liek to write for M&B one day, but there are also a million other publishers I would love to write for one day as well. Now its time to just keep on keeping on. :) x
