I have an uncle who's working for a tax place this year. He has some Stories already - I expect he'll have more when it's all through...

(As for me, I e-filed months ago. One of the perks of marginal employment is simple tax forms.)

I still belong to a listserv with a group of other CPAs. I am so glad I'm retired. Probably 97% of the clients are reasonable and realistic, then there's that other 3%!

Don't know how I did it but for the first time in decades, I didn't have to file for an extension. Now I'm on a stress comedown after working all day to get them done. I'd post a dancing Snoopy but I'm not happy when I have to deal with my taxes. It's a long story that involves getting totally screwed over, I'll save it for later.

I've got wine if anyone else wants a glass.

For me it's not the W-2 that sucks, it's the deductions for the long form. Thank God for TurboTax to just ask me the questions on Feb 1st every year! :)
