Someone taught a computer to write cookbooks and its recipe ideas are hilariously weird

So I’ve been training this neural network to generate cookbook recipes by letting it look at tens of thousands of existing recipes.

The generated titles can get a bit odd.

There’s a creativity variable I can set when the network is generating new recipes, and when I set it low, it comes up with its best guess at the most quintessential recipe titles:

Cream Cheese Soup
Cream Of Sour Cream Cheese Soup
Chocolate Cake (Chocolate Cake)
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Chicken Chicken Cake
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Chips
Chocolate Chips With Chocolate Chips

When I tell it to get creative, things get even weirder.

Beef Soup With Swamp Peef And Cheese
Beef Soup With Swamp Peef And Cheese
Chocolate Chops & Chocolate Chips
Crimm Grunk Garlic Cleas
Beasy Mist
Export Bean Spoons In Pie-Shell, Top If Spoon and Whip The Mustard
Chocolate Pickle Sauce
Whole Chicken Cookies
Salmon Beef Style Chicken Bottom
Star *
Cover Meats
Out Of Meat
Completely Meat Circle
Completely Meat Chocolate Pie
Cabbage Pot Cookies
Artichoke Gelatin Dogs
Crockpot Cold Water

...

A dimension of pure BEES
Not gunna lie, I'd be all over chocolate chicken chicken cake.

Beasy mist sounds like something slithey toves would gyre and gimble in.

"I'll have the Completely Meat Circle."

"I'm sorry sir, but we're completely out of meat. Would you prefer the Out of Meat? we can arrange it in a circle for you."

"Can you serve it with Cover Meats?"

"Certainly. The Cover meat today is Peef."

I'll take some of the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Cake, please.

If that's all gone, I'll make do with the Chocolate Chips With Chocolate Chips instead.

Oh my gosh, as I read each one I thought, this is it, this is the best one. And then I kept reading haha.

I needed this silliness today

Makes me think of those story generators/title generators and want to waste an hour laughing at what they come up with.

I RT'd this one (from you, I think, Maggie). I think it's the plot of a romance novel.

Put a small quantity of bread and butter in a slow fire
Add one inch of sugar, and one pint of cream
(Don't add the electrician yet, though)
Spread the hot milk over the fire until it begins to spin and boil
In deep enough water the eggs are usually called the crabs
Be very tender when you want to be very attractive, but if you prefer your guests hungry...

OK, now it's edging into erotica. That is NOT appropriate for this forum. :greenie

Just be careful you don't mix it up with the recipe for Chocolate Chops & Chocolate Chips.

I have a Random Word/Phrase generator I can write scripts for to generate certain things. These are some of the menu samplings from "Cuisine".

Anchovy sausages, served with a savory, hearty chowder.

Broiled honey crepes.

Carrots and cucumbers, fried with catnip, served in ghee.

Goat flavored with jalapenos and fish sauce, boiled with wild rice.

Goat, sweetbreads, and llama jerky pate served with salami crackers.

Red wine pasta with halibut meatballs and pepper sauce.

Roast turkey stuffed with frog's legs, marinated bull's penis, caviar, and GMO oysters.

Put some of that in a Circle With Peef, and you've got my attention.

 This is hilarious.

Give a thousand computers a thousand days and they'll come up with Gordon Ramsey.

I think I need to stock up on peef.
