Nice to hear that your dollar is finally worth $.90 of our dollar. Not to mention the Blue Jays are a half of game out of first place. The Thrillster must be mad that his Yankees suck so bad!

So, essentially this thread was started to take a shot at the FIRST place Yankees, who suck so bad, huh?

I like the way you squeezed the .90 cent thing in there.

Yeah. First place AS ALWAYS(8 straight division championships) really is awful. What a bad team.

Not to mention, our G.S.T. is going down by 1% in July. I can hardly wait.

I doubt the Yankees G.S.T. will go down. They run a tight ship at the stadium and the games start on time.

Sens must die!

I'm still mourning the habitant. I'm crushed. And then! The flames get put out last night. I don't know how much more I can take.
Oh come on! The Leafs are out, the Habs are out, why not support the Sens? At least they're Canadain, and a great team.

I say again: Go Sens Go!

I've got to get in my dig at the Yankees. We all know that they'll be in the post season. Still though, my Jays are looking good!

I didn't know you were a Jays fan.

And I wouldn't say "good." They're looking competitive.

Which is better than non-competitive, I guess.

But still...nothing all that great.

A coincidence? I wonder.... (adjusts foil beanie)

re the hockey playoffs. Yeah, the Flames are out. They're changing the name of 17th Ave. from the red mile to the DEAD mile, *snort rofl*

Go Oilers!

If 14-12 is "'[not] good...nothing all that great," then neither is 14-11, right thrilly?

Exactly Thrillster! With a team that has 8 hall of famers on it, you should be 25-0 and not 14-11.

The Jays are going to win it all this year. Mark my words.

I'm old enough to remember when the Canadian dollar was worth more than the U.S. buck. I'll never forget going to the corner store to buy a chocolate bar and Cheezies with a quarter, and the guy wouldn't take it because it was an American quarter. Jerk!

And yes, you could buy a regular sized chocolate bar and a regular sized bag of Cheezies with a quarter--at least with a Canadian quarter. ;)

Yes, it's good to be Canadian today...just like any other day. :D

GO Sens! Go Jays! (Too bad about the Flames...they're my back up team if Ottawa crumbled)

Hopefully our dollar will go back to being worth something in the EU so I can take a decent vacation or 3 next year.

Oh yeah: GO YANKEES!

That's such a joke. I can't believe how many people are falling for this. The only people who this makes any difference to are the rich. The conservatives' budget would be laughable if it weren't so detrimental. I'd take high taxes and good healthcare over "money in your pocket," that just ends up going to beer and popcorn anyway.

BOOO to Stephen Harper, who is trying to take credit for a booming economy left to his group of old prudes by the Liberal party...Idiots. It's all down hill from here...

someplace around here, anyone seen my keys?

The home town team...I have seen 2 games since they started playing here. I love the little robot fins they cruise around the ice before the game, though.

I co-ran a small ebay business in 2000-2003 for extra cash. The declining American dollar made the profit margin shrink too much. I had no problem when the US dollar was higher too lol. **** bush

I never understood the whole lower dollar, higher dollar, foreign dollar, thing.

And I never really cared. I go to the ATM and take out money and go buy stuff.

That process has always enabled me to get the stuff I want and I apparently remain unaffected by the whole lower, higher thing.

Billy, when you come back as a moth will you listen to Jiminy Cricket when he fills you in on lightbulbs?
