Man, you've got to watch those dimensional shifts. It's not so bad once you're on the other side, but crossing the event horizon's murder on my internet connection.

In the 10+ years I've the Admin, AW has only gone offline in my waking hours a handful of times. Always in what for me are the wee hours of the AM.

I blame the server hamsters.

That's like the golden rule of web server maintenance. It always goes offline when you're trying to catch a few Z's...

As for the server hampsters, I think their taste buds tend toward forums, especially active ones that either run phpbb or vbulletin. Of course I say this only having experience with those two platforms. They may like buddypress too.

I blame the server hamsters.

Have you tried throwing them to the query squirrels? Those things are vicious and terrifying.

Sorry folks; AW was offline between about 8:31 and 9:55 Eastern this morning.

Yes, I was sleeping in. The Hamsters Always Know when I've worked late and want to sleep in.

Damned hamsters. At least you got additional sleep before having to deal with the problem. :)

I'm thinking toothpick-sized electric hamster prods. Maybe they're called lemming prods. :badthoughts
