Hello :)

I noticed the Romantic Times website has a manuscript evaluation/critiquing service. Price seems reasonable and turnaround time pretty good. Has anyone used them before? Any thoughts and/or experiences??

Thank you.

Save your money!

You can get the same kind of help - FOR FREE right here on AW.

There are other chats, boards, etc. online where you can get free feedback. It takes some small effort to find them--oh, like 10 minutes with google--but worth the trouble.

Try the 808 section of your library for books on how to write query letters. That's cheaper than shelling out 35.00 big ones for someone to grade your paper!

Look around your area for local critique groups. Libraries and bookstores are a good place to start. Many are free, or have a nominal fee--nothing nearly as steep as what R-T charges!

If you're out in the boonies you have all of cyberspace to check out.

But save your money! Use it to send your finished MS out to a print publisher who will cut you a check.

Good luck!!! :)
