I'm beginning the sequel to an amateur sleuth mystery novel being published in June. My goal is 75,000 words after trading current chapters-in-progress with the right critique partner.

Think a modern version of Dashiell Hammett's The Thin Man, Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime, and the Lockridges' Mr. and Mrs. North.
