Disney's 2016 The Jungle Book.

I saw it yesterday as well, I found it enjoyable and visually beautiful. I few aspects I wondered why they changed, like making King Louie King Kong but otherwise it was a great movie.

The trailer for the BFG looks amazing along with Fantastic Beasts. Can't wait for those too.

If all remakes/reboots were as good as this, I would have far less of a problem with them.

I had no idea who was in it going in, apart from Idris Elba, so I spent half the film going 'Is that Bill Murray?' 'That snake sounds just like Scarlett Johanson'....

My husband took our son to his reviewer screening of this one instead of me, and they both raved about it so much that I made them take me on opening weekend.

I absolutely loved it. The only small thing that bugged me was King Louie's song. All of the other music fit perfectly, and the CGI completely blew me away.

Enjoyed it overall.
My only gripes are:
1) King Louie should not have sung in-film. The lack of energy and movement ruined the song. Credit singing was good.
2) If Baloo is afraid to climb, then how did he get up to where Mowgli was when they met?
