She's my first and only. My wife and I haven't had an easy year. Between moving, a demanding job, isolation from other young people with common interests, and living within a tight budget, it wasn't the care-free first year I'd hoped for. But I don't mind so much, because we made it, and had plenty of laughs along the way. I'm around a lot of people who have broken marriages or bad home lives, and I'm thankful that God blessed me with such a kind, peaceful soul. And she encourages my writing, so that's always good.
