...Well, assuming you count Kindle Unlimited Downloads in there. Which I do.
My prior efforts up until now have been short fiction, and they sold fairly little, in the grand scheme of things. The novella launched in July, and it's just now breaking a hundred. The short story came out late August, and it's not doing much better. Better reviews, but that's about it.
But my novel, Dire:Born? My novel which I self-published and launched on Black Friday, 2015? It just broke one thousand sales, across regular e-book purchases, Createspace print orders, and Kindle Unlimited downloads. 14 five-star Amazon reviews and 1 4-star are just the icing on the cake.
In the space of two and a half months, I've broken a thousand.
This is a very good feeling.
I knew it would do it... it's a good book. But I thought it would take a lot more time, and maybe the advent of the sequel before it did.
Well.
I'll finish the sequel in a few weeks, after which it'll take a month or two to finalize with my beta readers and editor. The cover artist is hard at work, and I should see something in a few weeks. If everything works out, I should launch the sequel in May or June.
I am very interested to see how that one goes....
