Hi all - I'm researching Pequot War. I'm wondering if anyone has a recommended reading for this conflict, for information about the early settlers of New England, and for the history and culture of the native people of the time.

There's plenty of material out there; although some is quite old. I would look at contemporary material, as much as possible.
This might be good.
The story of the war with the Pequots re-told.

You can also get some useful information & links from the Mashantucket Pequot Museum (http://www.pequotmuseum.org/default.aspx) -- the Pequots have an interest in their own history & sponsor a lot of research.

The Wikipedia article on the Pequot War (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pequot_War) has a good bibliography -- certainly enough to get you started.
