Can someone help me with finding out the jobs which men and women would of had and then how much they would be payed for working for a day?

When in the 18th or 19th century? Which city, town and country? What kind of person? Who where his or her parents? Peasants? Merchants? Farmers? Landed gentry? Clergy? Servant? Artisan? Craftsman? Soldier?
There's a very large difference between what would be available to the daughter of a Kujishi in Edo in 1715 than what would be available to the son of a fishmonger in Cádiz in 1894.
