Every morning when I get my news feeds, I scan over the headlines and maybe the first few lines of the story. I have saved links to some where I thought the headline alone will make for a good story, never mind the actual story behind the headline.

Has anybody looked at headlines like this before? Examples just from today:
Teen discovers his real identity when applying to college
VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (AP) — An Ohio teenager applying to college discovered some startling things about himself because of a discrepancy involving his... (he was kidnapped by his father 13 years ago)

[h=3] The tragically powerful story behind the lone German who refused to give Hitler the Nazi salute
Adopted by the Nazi Party in the 1930s, Hitler's infamous "sieg heil" (meaning "hail victory")... (I haven't read this one yet)

So many stories can be made from those headlines, don't you think?

That's pretty cool stuff. Definitely a breeding ground for great characters and plot lines.

"Man buys two poodles. Turns out they were rats on steroids."
