My ultimate goal is to get a literary contract, become a full-time writer and published by a publishing house.
My accomplishments thus far: Literally starting and not fearing possible rejection. Finding a writer in my area who is published and willing to help me. Setting deadlines for myself weekly and meeting the page/word count. Typing over 100 pages. Typing over 200 pages. Typing over 300 pages. Typing over 400 pages. Making characters that I love and that my editor loves as a reader. Staying consistent with my story. Taking the time to educate myself on different writing techniques and styles.
I hope to one day soon, come back to this forum and post that I did get an agent and a contract. We'll see!
