Okay, new game. Write a poem using as many of the 10 words provided in this post as possible. This doesn't have to be a write it here and now kind of thing, you can think about it and come back to it. These are 10 random words chosen from a page. It is fun to try to think of different contexts in which to use common words.

Have fun:

apparition
breeze
circle
drop
leaves
memory
raining
sacrament
secret
vile

The fun will be seeing how many different interpretations develop from a single set of words.

Have fun. I'll work on one this week and be back.

vile apparition
circles my
secret memories
raining breezy drops,
then leaves me

to what sacrament
is left.

Great fun, Dirk.

My Secret Circle

Curled inside my circle
No shivers incite,
Then, one drop,
Faintest plop,
I hardly stir,
Blurred vision

Curled inside my apparation,
No ghosts terrorize,
Then, one breeze,
Nudge to leaves
Of Halloween,
Screams silent

Curled inside my asylum,
No memory unclothes,
Then, raining,
Squall staining,
Sacrament melting,
Pelting vile

Outside my circle,
Curled

A secret memory circles,

Vile apparition leaves

Drops of sorrow

Where sacrament

Should be.

Whispers raining

From sullen breeze

Drop stories

Of destruction

In my dreams.

Great minds think alike NeuroFizz. Its like you were reading my mind!

that season

circle of sacrement in blood's drop;
secret of Apparition's breeze
leaves His memory
raining
on the vile

End Times

Strangers are my circle
moving past
unaware
I see them

They breeze through
chill remote
absent souls
raining remorse

What apparition stares
mirroring me
keeping secrets
I am denied

What fiend has torn
the leaves from
my book of
memory

I thirst in sorrow
I thirst in need
seeking a drop
of my life

Vile drought has
left only naked
emptiness where
days were written

Among these breaths
this desolation
I must seek
my sacraments

By Many Names, the Devil

...and none so vile as your own,
Nature.
When memory serves
an apparition of spring
on a silver plate,
your gluttonous breeze
makes new formed leaves drop
as sacrament
to a secret storm,
and in this circle of islands,
raining is hell.

so vile a secret, the memory conceals. aids. abets. surrounds then softens

like a breeze

the apparition of a reason wavers, solidifies, takes on the form you need

then it leaves

as if you are the only one who fails, knows shame, who knows regret,

absolves yourself

delusion is your sacrament, your savior, the maze in which you circle

your misgivings

and never drop your guard, your mask. the quizzical smile you force

upon yourself

Sacrament

In dead of night a breeze drifts by;
sad, mortal dreams to putrefy.
Within the circle cast in stone
vile memory makes its presence known.
The past comes raining down like sin
and leaves me fleeing deep within.
Dark visaged apparition howls
and sends my secret to earth's bowels.
I drop, the sky below me rents;
a fallen angel, heaven sent.
