It means they're professionals in the writing business, and they know what they're talking about. Plus they offer interest-free loans.

Isn't it a plant?

sage
n.
1. Any of various plants of the genus Salvia, especially S. officinalis, having aromatic grayish-green, opposite leaves. Also called ramona.
2. The leaves of this plant used as a seasoning.
3. Any of various similar or related plants in the mint family.

Now, you can look up the definition of a "smart ***"...

Hi. My name is Aconite, and I am powerless over horticulture. And I, too, am a smart***.

Strictly speaking, the last two posters (prior to Birol) did not offer smart*** responses, so if I were you, I would be somewhat cautious in accepting their self-annointed status as legitimate smart-***es.

A true smart-*** response to the question would be such:

"Well, obviously not you."

Or if the audience is a little slow:

"Well, since you had to ask the question, obviously not you."

Or if the audience is Aconite:

"Blow it out your ***." :D

Rob :)

DemaNegra asked a valid question and all she's getting is wit and deception.

I wish you folks started acting more like me.

That wouldn't be good. The board would tilt like an old pinball machine.

The first post answered her in sobriety. After that, it's always just a matter of time before someone starts dancing in a lampshade hat.

Wow. Thanks though, Rich.

I hadn't thought we were all that witty, yet--sorta still warming up, really.

Ode to Perks

I feel perky,
Oh, so perky,
I feel perky, but snarky I'll smite!
And I pity
Anyone who's impolite tonight.

I feel helpful,
Oh, so helpful
It's alarming how helpful I feel!
And so perky
That they hardly believe I'm real.

See the perky mod in that forum there:
Who can that exceptional mod be?
Such a perky sig,
Such a perky av,
Such a perky smile,
Such a perky me!

I feel certain
And uncertain,
Feel like posting and deleting for kicks,
For I'm liked
Throughout the AW sticks!

Rob :)

That was a slippery slope of treacherous wording, because if it had come out -

And so perky
That I hardly can believe they're real

we would have fought for certain. Thanks for the ode Rob and the giggle.
